I would not even consider the 2x tel-con on any lens. I currently own the 1.4 II tel-con and can say it works very well on the ef 70-200mm f2.8L lenses. I am not sue but I don't think I had the version II extender when I had my original ef 70-200mm f2.8L zoom but I don't see why it would not work on it.
EOS R6 - IBIS and LENS compatibility. GRIZZTAVIDZ. Apprentice. Options. 09-05-2020 04:25 PM. I ordered and received my R6 last week and am extremely happy with the handling, quality, AF performance and more. Because EF/RF adapers are hard to come by, I am working with a limited budget to pick up some RF options, in addition to my 24-105 Kit WaddizzleLegend. 11-05-2020 09:57 AM. If you want a teleconverter for an EF mount lens, then you must use a teleconverter for an EF mount lens. If you wish to. Use an EF mount lens on an RF mount body, then you must use an EF-RF mount adapter. I am not aware of a single device that can do both functions.
